Battle of Phouc Yen 

The Battle of Phuoc Yen was fought between the 101st Airborne Division and the 8th Battalion of the 90th NVA Regiment, two miles north of Hue, from April 27 to May 1, 1968. The engagement involved A/1/501 Airborne Infantry, B/2/501, D/2/501, A/1/502, and the "Black Panther" Company of the 1st ARVN Division, along with local Popular Force units. The NVA had 419 killed, with 107 surrendering.
